"We Love our Habitat Van. I wanted an Adventure Van. Not a Camper, but a daily driver that would be comfortable to camp in. Able to park at the store, able to hang all weekend at the beach. Getting a custom van done is a big, scary, expensive, intricate process. It takes time and dedication by both the buyer and the builder. I'd built 2 vans a very long time ago as an amateur. I am familiar with the process, the systems, and some of the challenges. As such, I wanted a nice quality van, not the van that I used to camp in by the river with shag carpet on the floors AND walls. Habitat built and installed everything on the van to date. Their work was excellent. At some point I said to myself "I just trust these guys". I'm really glad I did."

Lots of communication and progress pictures throughout the build, everything done to exact specifications, and delivered on budget. They exceeded expectations on my custom requirements: an extendable lounge for naps with my dog, air conditioning that didn't break the bank, a pull out step for the bed that has an integrated dog feeding station, and space for art. "We had our Ford Transit completely built out by Habitat Vans. We spoke with several van builders when making our decision to choose a builder. We knew we had found our builder after our first conversation with Alex. The whole process was smooth and efficient. Alex and his team are very knowledgeable and provided great feedback during our initial design process and through out the build. "We wanted a van suitable for exploring Vancouver Island and B.C. Something comfortable to live in and easy to drive. Habitat has provided that. They sourced a 2026 Ford Transit 350 for us and did a complete build. They patiently worked with us designing the van - my wife wanted an enclosed toilet and I want the space in the toilet room to be utilized. The solution was to build a shelving unit/wardrobe in the toilet room that slides forward when the toilet is going to be used. This gives us a huge amount of storage and an enclosed toilet. Alex and Marc were great to work with - they kept us informed as the build progressed. The workmanship is excellent and it was completed in the projected time."
